A simple story about 3 individuals who discuss the gruesome murder of a samurai to uncover the real truth about what actually happened and how it happened enhanced by Akira Kurosawa’s masterful way of directing and story telling. Pather Panchali is the first movie of the Apu trilogy. We recommend you to watch the entire trilogy as all three movies are great and deserves to be on this list. As kids, they don’t really care about being poor as they things here and there to amuse themselves but their parents however find it difficult to sustain in these conditions. 7) Mirror (1975) (Russia)
Mirror is one of the finest work of art by director Andrei Tarkovsky. The Mirror might be hard to process. With each viewing, the concept and plot of the movie becomes more clearer.
